Woman's Health

Did you know…
that education, exercise, early detection, and proper dietary choices before and after diagnosis of Breast Cancer can all reduce the chances of acquiring it and increase the chances of survival after diagnosis?

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer in their lifetime, but if all cases were diagnosed early, as many as 98% would survive. Proper guidance and education has proven to be a life-saving step in the fight against Breast Cancer.

Via the S.O.S Dragon Boat Team, based out of Key Biscayne, a platform has been created to serve as a haven, as well as a voice and advocate for women in need of guidance after diagnosis.

Save Our Sisters’ mission is to promote a healthy, active lifestyle, and provide organized opportunities for physical fitness, wellness education, and psycho-social empowerment among Breast Cancer survivors and their supporters by educating the public about breast health, serving as role models and providing mentoring for newly diagnosed women, assisting under-priveleged women to acquire screenings and treatment, and raising funds for Breast-Cancer-affiliated services and support for the families of the women affected by what is now the most common type of Cancer in women in the world.

Love Hope supports and advocates for S.O.S Dragon Boat Race Team for their efforts to help those in need, that are affected by breast Cancer.
